Calibrate a monitor on the fly without having to buy expensive hardware tools

QuickGamma is a regular, free software only available for Windows, that belongs to the category Software utilities with subcategory Analysis & Optimization (more specifically Monitor).

More about QuickGamma

It's available for users with the operating system Windows 95 and former versions, and it is only available in English. Its current version is 2.0.0.3 and was updated on 2/5/2006.

Since the program was added to our catalog in 2004, it has reached 36,629 downloads, and last week it achieved 10 installations.

QuickGamma is a pretty light software that doesn't need as much storage than most software in the section Software utilities. It's very heavily used in Vietnam, Japan, and Other Countries.

QuickGamma allows you to set the gamma correction for your monitor on the fly to match the recommended Windows gamma of 2.2. In fact you should run QuickGamma on every Windows startup after the monitor has warmed up (15 to 30 minutes) and whenever the ambient light conditions have changed.

Once you have found the optimum gamma correction for your monitor at the usual ambient light conditions, you should save the gamma correction setting as default for the QuickGammaLoader utility. This default gamma correction setting can be restored automatically at each Windows startup by QuickGammaLoader.
